CHOOSING A THEME
not all goodbyes are bad!
We’ve all said goodbye, whether it was to another person, an object, a time in our lives, or even a version of ourselves. While they’re often thought to be sad or serious, they don’t have to be! Goodbyes can be words, warm hugs, gifts, an empty wrapper, or a trip to goodwill. Sometimes our goodbyes aren’t forever, or even by choice, and sometimes our goodbyes are for the better.
For my print exchange, I asked the participants:
what have you said goodbye to?

CHOOSING VESSELS
so what're we puttin' all
these prints in?
Expanding off of my theme, I decided that each print would go into envelopes for letters and cards that could act as an expansion of each participants' work.
All the prints from the exchange, once in their envelopes, were tied with ribbon (like little parcels) and placed into
larger pink folders.
But what should go on the folders?
what color?
PINK, OF COURSE!

GOODBYES
Project Type
Print Exchange
There's a tradition at Murray State University that the graduating senior(s) in printmaking design and organize a class print exchange. The theme I chose for my exchange was "Goodbyes".
